Tempting as this sounds it should be remembered that, the vast majority of parrots that are kept as pets live perfectly happy and contented lives in an environment where they have no contact with others of their own kind.

Keeping two African Greys can also bring its own complications, birds will almost certainly compete for attention and show aggression towards each other. This would almost certainly be exacerbated when the birds reach breeding age.

Purchasing a baby African Grey represents a significant financial investment, few have the financial means to purchase two. In our opinion a much better option is an enriched environment for just one baby.
