This is a very difficult question to answer. Like children every baby parrot is an individual and each has its own level of intelligence.

Occasionally we have sold babies at 12 weeks old that have already been able to say hello, generally this happens when we only have a small number of babies in the nursery and more time to give the baby individual attention. This would suggest that the more time you spend with your baby parrot the sooner it will learn to speak.

Some customers report that their babies took a few months to master talking and then picked up new words and sounds with ease.
