The simple answer to this question is to buy the biggest cage that you can afford and have room for.

However there seems little point in providing you parrot with a palace when it spends most of its time at liberty. a combination of a cage and a playframe is a viable alternative

As a minimum legal requirement your bird should be able to stretch its wings fully in every direction.

The cage should also be sited in a secure location away from draughts.
