About us : Established in 1992 Rain or Shine is a family-run business designing and crafting traditionally made hardwood garden furniture in our own Wiltshire workshops. We produce excellent quality furniture at fantastic prices for sale direct to the public. Many items can be made to measure, including tables at any size up to 8ft x 4ft.

Construction : The furniture is made from Iroko and European Oak using traditional mortise and tenon joints which are finished and fitted by hand. All of the furniture is NOT flat-packed, mass produced or imported

The Timber : Iroko and Oak are imported from sustainable sources. They are both very durable hardwoods with a natural high oil content and can be left outside all year uncovered and will last for 30 years plus.

The Finish : Untreated the timbers will weather to an attractive silvery grey colour, small cracks may appear on the furniture but this is a normal characteristic and does not affect the strength and durability. If you prefer the timbers can be treated, this will give it a golden brown colour. We supply all our furniture untreated. The furniture can be treated with any good quality stain or oil available from DIY stores. We recommend two coats when new and then one coat each year.

Delivery : We deliver with our own transport, charges start from £9 with the maximum being £30.

Aftercare : We recommend to clean the furniture each year using soapy water or a jetwash. If treating the furniture give the wood a light rub down with a fine sandpaper if necessary and then re-apply the treatment every year.
